Our People
Dr. Britt A. Buckley
Dr. Buckley has personally performed more than 25,000 laser vision correction procedures.
He has trained approximately 100 ophthalmologists in the latest refractive surgical techniques, authored numerous articles and presented professional papers at medical seminars and conventions throughout the nation.
Dr. Buckley ranks among the top five percent of all VISX surgeons nationwide.
He graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1979 and completed a three-year ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Virginia in 1983.
Dr. Buckley moved to southern Colorado in 1983 and established his solo ophthalmology practice, later called Peak Vision Center, now Buckley Chang Eye Institute.
He studied LASIK and PRK procedures in London and Berlin from 1992 through 1993 taking part in the famed Summit Technology Excimer Laser Visionary Program.
Dr. Matthew Chang
Dr. Chang specializes in corneal transplants, Lasik surgery, glaucoma, and other anterior segment disorders. He prides himself on being at the forefront of the latest technologies and techniques and is actively involved in several current research studies.
Dr. Chang completed his undergraduate degree at the Johns Hopkins University in 1992 and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute in Michigan and his fellowship training at the University of Arizona in the field of cornea, refractive surgery, and external disease.
Dr. Chang takes pride in educating his patients thoroughly so they are personally involved in their vision care. Patient satisfaction is his highest priority.
Dr. Joe Miles
Dr. Miles is our senior Optometrist. He provides much of the pre-and post-operative care for our refractive surgery patients. Additionally, Dr. Miles supervises and provides clinical support to the contact lens department.
Dr. Miles was born and raised in Southeastern Idaho. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 1977.
Dr. Jack Zamora
Dr. Zamora specializes in microsurgical technologies and techniques to create natural and youthful eyes, eyelids, and eyebrows. He combines the use of Botox, fillers, laser, ultrasound, minimally invasive surgery, and full reconstruction.
Dr. Zamora graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Boston University. He continues to teach in Boston as an Assistant Professor and is recognized as one of Boston University’s premier surgical instructors.
Dr. Felicia Popowski
Dr. Popowski provides pre and post-op surgical care, treats ocular disease, manages glaucoma patients and fittings of difficult custom contact lenses. She also has a special interest in infant and child examinations.
Dr Popowski grew up in Maryland and in 2005, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Oregon where she was selected as the Outstanding Clinician for the Class of 2005.
Dr. Popowski is a licensed Colorado optometrist, therapeutic, diagnostic and injection certified practitioner, InfantSEE provider, and a member of the Colorado Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
